I know, this conference has been amazing! All the talks were wonderful. I especially loved Elder Hollands talk, his was my favorite too. I have never thought of the crucifixion that way, very enlightening. I also liked, Elder Oaks, Elder Uchtdorf and I loved how President Monsons talk was so full of hope and upliftment. I really liked the story of the women who walked to Germany from East Prussia with her children and how she gave up everything and traveled through the snow, it was so sad how she lost her children and had to dig their graves with a spoon in the snow. I am no longer going to complain about my trials!
Conference was GREAT! I also am a big fan of Elder Holland. I would have to say that my favorite talk was given by Elder Hales. I think we've needed to hear those things for a while.
Hurray! I'm glad that the cards worked for you guys. Annabelle like them, colored them and got the occasional jelly bean but she really liked putting stickers on a 'bingo sheet'. Isn't it surprising how such simple things can make listening to General Conference accessible to a kid?? I wasn't really expecting it to work for very long. My main goal was to just keep her busy so that Mike and I could listen. I guess it was a righteous desire :) I need to review my notes, right now they are all swirling in my head and I can think to tell you which one was my favorite.
